This is a beautiful rental house that is often the first of our properties to be rented each year, so plan ahead to grab this one! This historic house-turned-rental-home features hardwood floors, a large living room and dining room, and two sets of French doors that open onto a spacious, covered porch – a great place for studying in the spring or socializing in the summer.

Two newly-renovated bathrooms, plush carpet, central air washer and dryer, a large kitchen, and 7 large bedrooms make this home a really cool living option for a group of friends who like to have hangouts. Court Street bars and shops are a 30-second walk away, and you’re just 3 blocks from OU’s campus.

Tenant is responsible for all utilities, but landlord does provide free parking; there is stacked parking in the driveway for as many as three cars depending on the size, and more parking is available to rent 2 blocks away for $33 per month per spot. The security deposit is $583 per person. Sorry, no pets allowed.

What’s the neighborhood like?

This KPR student housing is truly inside the uptown neighborhood. You’re surrounded by student rentals and just a few seconds from Court Street if you take that little brick road Rose Street to cut across. Tucked just off the corner of Congress and E State, this section of the street is like a little micro-community in the warmer months.

3 words to describe this neighborhood: fun, active, central

What’s this uptown rental house close to?

  • O’Betty’s: artisan hot dogs and late-night fries
  • The Overhang: bar/restaurant (home of the Brain Stomper)

Distance to Court Street: 500 ft, 2 min walk
