A really nice three bedroom apartment in one of the best locations in town? With outdoor space and a view of uptown Athens? Our tenants love this 3-bedroom, 1-bath student rental unit in our building at 12 N Congress. Historic charm, an amazing location, renovated kitchen and bath, hardwood floors… the list of cool things in this OU housing unit is pretty long, which is probably why the units in this building get leased so quickly each year. Steps from morning coffee or a Mediterranean dinner before bar hopping, this is an apartment that gives you the full experience of life in uptown Athens at Ohio University.

Create your ideal college-student journey in an uptown, off-campus apartment close to OU with a just-renovated kitchen with a dishwasher, ceramic tile floor, gorgeous cabinets, and new counter tops; a bathroom that’s also just been redone with a cast iron porcelain tub and tiled tub surround; and a shared laundry room with 2 washers and dryers for the tenants in the building.

Long-term rented parking is available in a lot around the corner for $204 per semester. Above, I have included a video of Apt #5, which is almost identical with the exception that the front bedroom is enormous (Go check it out!). Don’t worry, though – #1's front bedroom is still very large. The security deposit is $566 per bedroom. Sorry no pets allowed.

What’s the neighborhood like?

This three bedroom OU rental is truly inside the uptown neighborhood. You’re surrounded by student rentals and just a few seconds from Court Street around the corner, and you basically share a backyard with Lucky’s uptown! Tucked just off the corner of Congress and W Washington, this section of the street is like a little micro-community in the warmer months, because it’s close to campus, too.

3 words to describe this neighborhood: fun, active, central

What’s this apartment building close to?

This place is close to everything uptown, making social life and university life compatible and convenient:

  • Salaam: Mediterranean-fusion restaurant
  • Donkey Coffee: café/popular study spot
  • Goodfella’s: pizza takeout (post bar-crawl carbs!)

Distance to Court Street: .1 mi, 2 min walk (less if you take the alley!)

Distance to campus: .2 mi, 5 min walk
